Been away for a while due to technical issues. Something i picked up from the internet went into my computer and messed my Safari preferences up. Luckily, the guys over the Genius bar at the Mac Store in Aventura were able to fix it.

I have one week left before i go home, so i'm trying to enjoy as much as i can while i'm here, because i'm sure gonna miss it when i'm gone! But today when i woke up, the sky was filled with clouds, and it even rained for a while in the afternoon, so i spent all day in watching an ANTM marathon. While i watch trash tv whenever we're lounging around the house, Pat has put his time to a better use and read five books since we got here… you can picture who the smart half of the couple is! ;)

FINALLY!

The weather finally warmed up and i've been spending almost half of the day by the pool enjoying the sun.

Random set of pictures we've been taking lately. The weather is slowly starting to warm up. And so are we.

Bought the 'WhoWhatWear' book and liked it so far. I love all the tips and info they have to share. I even surprised myself while shopping and choosing stuff according my body type. What would you do if you could throw all your clothes away and shop for an entirely new closet?

The cold weather has prevented me to go to the beach, but has forced me to spend all my days inside malls. My bank account is gonna suffer the consequences....

I seriously stocked up in coats and jackets, i think i bought around five or six of them... don't know how they're gonna fit on my suitcase when i have to pack them!

PD. Does anyone know any good hypoallergenic nail polish brand?

I've been having an amazing time in Miami, that's why i haven't been online much.

One thing that's different from the other times i've been here it's the weather. I'm (and i bet everyone else here) used to much warmer weather, even in January. Hopefully it'll warm up in the next few days, i didn't bring four bikinis for nothing!

The positive side though it's that i got to do lots of shopping without feeling guilty about missing out on the great weather Miami's known for.

I've added a bunch of pics on our (Pat and me) flickr account :)

Noise+Silence jeans; Forever 21 hoodie.

Happy New Year! I kicked off 2010 celebrating low-key style with (part of) my family in Miami.

After an 8-hour flight and long waits, Pat and i finally landed in Miami. We love it here... the weather, the people, the beaches, the food, everything is so different from where we come from that we always get really excited to be here.

It's been way much colder than usual (like all around the US according to the weather news), so we haven't got the chance to go to the beach yet. But we still have a lot of time ahead of us until we go back home ;)

If you're wondering about the bandage in my middle finger, i accidentally got an awful burn while taking a way too hot cup of milk out of the microwave...

Hope everyone had an amazing New Year's Eve and an even better beginning of the year!

Old denim jacket; Complot top; Ona Saez jeans; Havaianas.

Feliz 2010!

(excuse the messy floor, my 2 year-old niece came to visit)

After an unexpected (by both you and me - i kinda saw the days gradually passing by) hiatus, i'm willing (and making one of my New Year's resolutions) to keep up with the blog the best way that i can. I got surprised/excited everytime i saw a new comment on my last post, since it's been almost two months since my last update. So thank you!

I'm proud to day that i'm done with school, until next February/March (haven't decided yet if i'm gonna take a summer class when i get back from my trip). Believe me that it was one of the most satisfying feelings to see how my and my teammate's hard work paid off. Ending this school year felt like getting this huge weight off my shoulders. Now i'm five classes away from graduating, but that's a whole different story, and i'll leave it for March-July 2010 posts.

Good news is that i'm leaving tomorrow! I seriously can't believe December 30th finally came. We've had our flight tickets since.... July, i think, which is a looooooong time to wait. So imagine how stocked i am that i'm finally leaving for my trip in less than 24 hours.

Today is packing day, which i totally suck at. I always make a list so i don't forget anything. Since comfort is my number 1 priority, i try to bring the less i can, so my vacation wardrobe reduces to strictly basics, and it usually works well because i don't like overpacking. I'll tell you how it goes this time.

H&M top; Complot jeans; Nine West shoes; F21 necklace.

Uf.
