What i wore last night. A good friend of my bf and i is, who's getting married in October, is now the proud owner of an awesome apartment. He signed the lease yesterday, so of course we had to go out and celebrate the good news.
It is a bit matchy-matchy (why every time i say that phrase the image of the very first episode of The Hills -when Lauren meets Whitney at TeenVogue- comes to mind?) because of all of the sequins going on, but i like it. It has the black and white, the shortness and the looseness. I'm not a high-heel person (yet) so i can't stand shoes for longer periods than a few hours, especially if i'm gonna be walking or standing up, but these boots turned out to be one of the most comfortable shoes i've ever own.
Today i didn't leave the house in all day. I spent most of the time fighting with the Internet company people... Lord, i wonder when this whole issue is gonna end. But for now, i'm here.
A key thing for me is to be comfortable, especially if i'm staying at home. So whenever i'm lounging around the house you can often see me wearing these kind of outfits.

Un muy amigo de mi novio y mio se casa en octubre. A partir de ayer es dueño de un departamento muy lindo, y como correspondía salimos a festejar.
Por ahi este outfit parece muy "combinado" por las lentejuelas de la falda y las botas, pero a mi me gustó. Tiene los elementos necesarios para un outfit perfecto (para mi).
Hoy me quedé en casa todo el día, así que la situación ameritaba a ropas cómodas y prácticas.

I know what you mean about the heels thing. I've always been a casual dresser. I like living in my Converse and walking fast, heels just aren't the thing for that. But, I have to wear it once in awhile cause if I get too comfortable in my flats and then I return to my heels, they are torture on my feet. :(
I laughed when you describe the whole 'matchy-matchy' from The Hills. It's so true, same thing comes to mind. Except, I picture more of that womans face and voice. Didn't she sound like a goody goody but tried not to be. At least that's what I got.
Ha, I'm going on MTV right now and re-watching that part and laughing my ass off.
