This week's gonna be hectic. I have a project due today, yes TODAY, which i'm still not done yet… maybe it isn't helping that i'm blogging right now; and a paper due Thursday. I'll love life again on Friday.

What i'm wearing today. I've been all for comfy outfits this weekend, which by the way is a long weekend. My brothers are coming to celebrate Father's Day, so this is perfect to run around the house with my two little nieces.
My dad's one of those people who "has everything", so getting him a present it's a tough task. I ended up going for a roller pen (since you can never have too many ¿?) with his name engraved on it.

Lo que me puse hoy. Este fin de semana predominaron las prendas cómodas. Vienen mis hermanos para festejar el Día del Padre, así que es perfecto para estar por la casa y correr con sobrinas menores de 2 años.
Mi papá es de esas personas que "tienen todo", así que cuando hay que hacerle un regalo, la cosa se puede complicar. Al final, le compré una lapicera/birome (no se la diferencia aún) roller con su nombre grabado.
Feliz Día del Padre a mi papá, y a todos los padres que estén por ahí :)
I seriously intended not to wait so long for a new post but the weekend involved sleeping in, watching the World Cup and taking advantage of the rainy weather. All of that, implies lounging in whatever i could find laying around and not leaving the house if possible.
On Monday i have classes in the morning, so i set my alarm at 6AM. I usually end up waking up at 6.30/6.45, so that leaves me 30-15 minutes to get ready. Besides the fact that i wasn't wearing anything out of the ordinary, when i came back home, it was heavily raining, and the sky decided to turn into a deep deep gray. So even though it was 1PM, there was virtually no decent light to take pics. Enough with the excuses…
I wore this yesterday, and i ended up freezing. It wasn't that cold, but i decided that bringing nothing else than this cute little cardigan was enough for 55F (13C) degree weather. These pics kinda suck too, i need to get my tripod back!

Venía bien. No quería que pasaran tantos días desde el último post, pero el fin de semana involucró no hacer nada, comer, mirar los partidos del Mundial, y si era posible, no salir de la casa aprovechando el clima lluvioso.
Los lunes tengo clases a la mañana, así que mi despertador suena a las 6.00 en punto. Claro, me termino levantando 6.30/6.45, lo que me deja de 30-15 minutos para cambiarme y salir de casa. Por eso creo que mis lunes, no pueden ser más lunes.
Esto me puse ayer, y me congelé. Soy de esas personas que tienen frío todo el tiempo, así que no sé por qué se me ocurrió que salir sin nada mas que lo que ven, era una buena idea. Para una temperatura de 13C grados, claramente que necesitaba algo más.

Beside the ups and downs this week had, it was a pretty good one after all. On Tuesday we started fixing the apartment, which is super exciting. We already picked the wall colors! So many to choose from, but i think we made a good job. Can't wait to see how everything turns out.
Yesterday i went to this cute little cafe-place called Möoi. It opened a few months ago, and although i've already been there a few times, they have such a good variety of stuff to choose from that i couldn't wait to go back. It's interior decor is so cool that it's nearly impossible to miss it when you're walking down the street. I'll let the pics speak for themselves.

El balance de esta semana es bastante positivo. El martes arrancaron los arreglos del departamento, y aunque tuvimos que tomar varias decisiones, ver cómo todo va tomando su forma es increíble. Elegimos colores, dónde va a ir cada cosa, cómo queremos esto, cómo queremos lo otro… Todavía falta, pero en unas semanas podrán ver los resultados finales.
Ayer fui a un lugarcito nuevo que abrió hace unos meses cerca de casa. Ya había ido un par de veces, al mediodía y a la noche, pero me intrigaba saber qué tenían para ofrecer a la tarde y a la mañana (todavía pendiente). Se llama Möoi y tiene una decoración que es imposible de no notar cuando pasás por la puerta. Dejo que las fotos hablen por sí solas.
My alarm went off at 5.30am, so i'm not loving this day at all. I usually hate Tuesdays, but that's because i have classes in the afternoon (from 2-6pm) which i hate. Aside all the crappy-ness that involves Tuesdays, the weather wasn't helping at all. Gloomy/cloudy/super cold/humid days are not cool. Plus, Pat's sick so this day sucks pretty badly.
Decided to leave all of that aside and throw on this floral number. As much as i love jeans, dresses are such versatile pieces. You can dress them up, dress them down, wear them in the summer, add tights and keep wearing them over the winter. For some reason i find that i like wearing summery print dresses when it's cold (mixing them and toughening them up) more than i do in spring/summer. Go figure.

Hoy me levanté obligadísima a las 5.30 de la mañana. Esa no es la mejor forma de empezar el día. Ya vengo mal predispuesta para los martes, curso a la tarde y siento que rompe el esquema del día estar de 14 a 18 en la facultad. El clima tampoco está ayudando, está todo nublado, con niebla, pesado y frío al mismo tiempo. Y para sumarle algo más, Pat está enfermo. Puedo seguir quejándome el día entero, pero llegaría más tarde de lo que ya estoy.
Yendo en contra de todo lo dicho antes, elegí este vestidito floreado que de invernal no tiene nada. Me di cuenta que prefiero usar este tipo de vestiditos en invierno, más que en verano. Vaya uno a saber por qué. Más allá de todo, es una prenda bastante versátiles, se pueden usar tanto en verano como en invierno.
Spent most of Saturday's afternoon at the zoo with my niece. It's much nicer than our local zoo, this one's 40-minute-drive away from where i live. Imagine Animal Kingdom minus the awesome rides and cool safari-esque activities. Well, i may be exaggerating, but it's a really nice place. I know these are a ton of pics, but be fair, i had a hard time picking from the 200+ pictures i took!

Ayer me pasé casi toda la tarde en Temaiken con mi sobrina. A veces uno se olvida lo genial que es estar al aire libre y disfrutar de cosas realmente simples. Demás está decir que es diez veces más lindo que el zoológico de Palermo, pero bueno, son como dos cosas diferentes. Son mil fotos, pero creanme que no fue fácil elegir entre las 200+ que saqué!
