I was waiting for today so i could post wedding #2 outfit. I loved this dress! It may be something i wouldn't choose if i saw it hanging on a store's rack, but from the minute i tried it on i instantly loved it. Also loved the color, it was this rich silver-ish gray with sparkly details and braided straps. The genius behind this creation, is my sister-in-law, she's a fashion designer. As i mentioned on the previous post, she literally saved me and gave me three dresses for the three weddings i had this month. The jacket didn't really go with the dress, but it was the only thing i had that sort of matched it color-wise.

FYI these pics were taken at 6am when i got back home, so excuse the not-so-friendly facial expression ;)

Took the weekend off and drove all the way to a little city near-by Buenos Aires, where i live (it's 160 km. way, to be exact). Pat's brother celebrated his wedding there because that's his (now) wife's hometown. It was great to get away from the city and take a few days to visit new places.

We had a great time. Arrived there on Friday and left on Sunday afternoon. It was super a bit colder over there and i ended up with a cold, so i didn't get to enjoy the trip 100%.

Wish i could have taken better pics of the dress i was wearing, but (typically me) we had to leave in a rush, since we were really late for the ceremony. This was the first wedding of three, so i still have two to go. Thanks to my sister in law (she saves me every time i need something to wear), i got three gorgeous dresses to wear, so my problems are solved.

On the way home, we made a stop at a little gastronomical town where we had some late lunch. I swear i must have eaten for the whole week, picture #5 is proof of that.

I have three weddings coming up. One this Saturday, another one next week, and the last one in October 30th. I'm still undecided on what i'm gonna wear to each one; everything formal-party-esque that i have hanging in my closet just doesn't feel right for some reason.

Today, it was Pat's brother's civil union ceremony. I went out on the crazy hunt for the perfect casual-low-key dress for the occasion. Curiously i ended up buying this dress, which also came in white, like my closet didn't have enough black dresses.

For the first time i put this outfit together in my mind, i couldn't help to think how AWESOME it'd look with these Balmain booties.

Saturdays. One of my favorite days of the week, along with Thursdays. Lately i've been feeling kind of weird about what to wear. Comfort seems to be the number one priority, making loos-er jeans, soft tees and cozy sweaters, my daily uniform.

It's September and spring's just around the corner. I can't wait to start trading thick coats for light jackets. For some reason i'm always cold, so i totally over do it with layers sometimes.

Today the weather was great, sunny and a bit cold. Pat and i went out for quick lunch, and spent the rest of the day watching movies (like Zoolander) and discussing what we should get for an afternoon snack.

Rainy day turned into cloudy, turned into sunny, turned into cloudy... weather's crazy. One thing it's been a constant throughout the whole day was the cold wind.

After seeing demin shirts all over the place, and not having found suitable one for me, i decided to attack my dad's closet, which i rarely do because almost all of his stuff is way too big. Jackpot! I found two denim shirts that had been beautifully faded with washes and years of use. One ended up being ridiculously big, so i had to settle with this light-ish wash one. And since it was gonna work as another layer of the outfit, it wouldn't matter that its size was XL. (When i went out, i also wore a hoodie and a coat).

The angle of the pictures turned out kinda weird, but i liked it, thought it looked cool.

I start to get uncomfortable in between seasons. I slowly start not having a clue on what to wear, because whatever i've been wearing for the past three months seems so 'used' and 'done'. I'm still embracing winter weather because it gives you a few more options than summer weather, when you just have to throw the casual top and shorts not to melt alive. Still, i feel like i've been in my comfort zone lately, where lots of denim, black and boots end up being the daily uniform. Not that there's a problem with that though.

Silly shots day. It's been raining on and off for the past few days. I usually like it when it rains, but not when it lasts for a whole week (especially if you have to leave the house). Favorite rainy-day activities: watch tv show marathons, watch movies, eat, cuddle, lay around the house. Lazy much?

I'M BACK! For real this time.

The weather went totally crazy and for the past three days temperatures went above the 90F. So it was out with the coats and in with the shorts. On Saturday my niece turned two, so we took advantage of the weather and celebrated her birthday while getting a little tan (which i now thing i'm in desperate need of, since i'm on the verge of not looking healthy anymore). It didn't last long though, on Monday the cold wind was back...
