Still wishing that autumn really felt like autumn, but it's been really warm these past few days, so transitioning from one season to another has been fairly easy. Wonder when i'll be able to wear all the jackets and coats i bought while i was in Miami, sigh.

Some time ago i realize that i feel really comfortable with basic and neutral colors, and am very afraid of color. No wonder i own so many black/white/gray pieces, and like 12 pairs of jeans. This is a clear example of why i like it in basics and neutrals. You just can't go wrong with them.

Old Navy sweater; Ay Not Dead tank; Ona Saez jeans; Nine West wedges; Forever 21 necklace and random chain; Forever 21 bracelets (this one has squared studs, mine has rounded ones).

PD. For those who asked, yes, that's my house.

Casi viernes.

Two movie nights in a row! YAY! I love watching movies, and i rather go see them at a theater than watch them on dvd. I don't know, i just like the whole idea of 'going to the movies'. We went to see 'Shutter Island' and even though i spent over half of the movie covering my eyes in case anything weird came up, i really really liked it. I don't do scary movies, and i know this one isn't scary, but the whole time i was just waiting for something to happen.

Anyways, i'm absolutely loving these jeans at the moment. I have other pairs of BDGs, for some reason everytime i buy jeans i end up buying BDGs, but these are just so comfortable, and the wash is just perfect. I also bought them in a lighter wash, which i've been wearing a lot since the last days of summer went by. Oh, that reminds me, happy spring everyone (or fall, wherever you are!). The cool part of living on the other side of the hemisphere is that i get a lot of inspiration for the next season in advance, so i can't wait to see what everyone's been saving for the warmer seasons.

I was thinking about doing a beauty post. I'm not too big on make-up, but i bought a couple of things while i was in Miami that i've been really happy with the results. Still thinking about it!

Urban Outfitters tee; BDG jeans; Prüne shoes.

Can't believe how fast weekends go by. It's almost Monday again, and since both Pat's and my weeks are so busy, we could use some more free time. Luckily, there's no school or work on Wednesday due to a national holiday, so it's gonna be great having that free day on the middle of the week.

Pat got a haircut yesterday, he's really been into short hair lately. It's much more practical and comfortable, he says. And doesn't it look so cute? I promise i won't get mad if you agree ;)

Later in the day we went to see 'Alice in Wonderland'. Didn't love it, but it's ok. The visual aspects of the movie are incredible, and Alice's wardrobe is insane.

Como quires que et quire skirt; Rapsodia jacket; Urban Outfitters tee; boots from Marshall's; Forever 21 bag; Forever 21 necklace.

On Pat: Gap shirt (similar here); Ay Not Dead jeans; Franco Pasotti boots; Ray-Ban wayfarers.

I kinda disappeared for a while, again. School's back, but it's nothing like it was last year. Things are not as hectic as they used to. But it took me some time to get everything organized and back in place.

A few days ago Pat came to me and said 'why you have so many gorgeous shoes if you never wear them?' (yes, he said gorgeous). I instantly felt like Toni Collette in 'In her shoes' and decided it was time to do something about it. Since i don't wear shoes (heels) that often, i can't stand them for long periods of time. Seriously, i have no idea how women tote around the city in 6 inch heels all day. But you gotta get started somewhere, right? So here am i, incorporating heels into my everyday wardrobe. So if anyone has any tips, other than carrying a pack of band aids on my purse, they will be more than welcome.

Mirror/Dash jacket; old tank and scarf; BDG skinny jeans; Steve Madden shoes; Forever 21 bracelet.

There's nothing better for a food junkie than any kind of celebration/party, where one can get away with indulging on enormous amounts of food without anyone noticing. Probably because everyone else is doing the same thing.

My sister-in-law really outdid herself yesterday. She had a big table filled with hot dogs with funky toppings, all kinds of chips/cheetos/tostitos and whatever falls under the same category, a sort of chocolate fondue with fruits to dive into, croissants with ham and cheese, and of course, a delicious birthday cake.

I snapped a quick pics of my outfit in the bathroom before i left the house. Don't judge me, i was tripod-less and Pat-less at the moment!

Seems like my blogs revolving a lot around food lately. I've definitely been enjoying it.
