If you're an MKA fan, like me, you'll probably recognize the inspiration on this outfit. Somewhere around 2006 (i think), Ashley stepped out wearing a sweater similar to mine; well, technically mine is similar to hers, but you get the point. I loved how it looked, and managed to get one in a really similar style. I haven't worn it in a while, but today was a very gloomy day and it just felt right.

Thursday means we're really close to the weekend, which is always a good thing. This was one of the weirdest weeks i had in a long time. Unexpected flat tires + 4-hour sleep nights + long working days + yummy snacks in between. Can't wait until August.

Today's lunch at TGI Friday's:

Jack Daniel's burger for Pat.

Tuscan chicken sandwich for me.

Oh, for the ones who wanted a preview of the shoot we did with Pat's band, here you go:

Believe me, it took time to get the table looking that pretty!

PS. I still have to catch up with everyone's comments, but even if i didn't leave any comments, i still check your blogs daily.

Today i decided to throw on whatever crossed my mind, even if it didn't end up looking good together. Surprisingly i was really pleased with the final result. This jacket is not made of leather, it may be the cheapest item ever, my parents brought it from Europe and they paid around 5 Euros for it... crazy! I also have it in red, though i haven't been brave enough to wear it yet.

It's been pretty cold lately, some days more than others though, but as we get closer to the shortest day of the year (for many of you will be the longer though), i realized that i've been enjoying the cooler weather. Sunny days with super cold weather, those are my favorite winter days.

The craziness continues. I have a school project due tomorrow, and i still have some details to go through. Today's is a national holiday so that means no school, but it doesn't mean chill-time. School's been practically taking 90% of my life; luckily i'll be done with it in a month. The whole system here is backwards, classes start on March and end on November, but before the second half of the school year starts again i have a few free weeks around July/August for winter vacations. Intensely looking forward to that.

Highlight of the week: The Kooks' concert tomorrow.

Catching up on awards and updates, i wanna thank Fashion Moment and Electric Feel for tagging me. I'm supposed to share my '20 favorite things' and '7 things i love' which are pretty much the same, so i'm gonna make one list.

20 Favorite things / 7 Things i love (in no particular order):

- Laughing - who doesn't like it?

- Pat - he's my ultimate favorite everything.

- FOOD - duh!

- Reality shows - admitted addiction.

- Security words that actually are real words - just because they're fun.

- Magazines - see them, read them, touch them, and sometimes smell them.

- Lip balm - cannot live without it.

- Photography - taking pictures, getting mine taken, seeing other people's pictures.

- My family - i feel incredibly lucky for the family that i have, they're simply the best.

- Notebooks - i have a like dozen of them, and i don't wait until one is finished to start a new one.

- Pillows - i have six on my bed.

- Movies - i get really emotional while watching them.

- Scented candles - they smell pretty!

- Internet - spend over a week without it and you'll see why.

- Skittles - they're fun-looking, yummy and colorful.

- Watch - i need to know what time is it, always.

- MY MacBook - and not because it's a Mac, but because it's mine. I feel weird using other people's computers.

- Pen and paper - can't believe i was forgetting them!

- Music videos - i can watch the same ones over and over again, and still discover something new in them.

- Jeans - if you're wondering why, check all the previous posts.

-  Blow drier and flat iron - believe me, you don't wanna see how my natural hair looks.

- Concealer - it makes me look healthier.

-  Blankets - i'm cold 90% of the time.

- Sugar - i use crazy amounts of it.

- Music - no need for explanation.

- Bobby pins - they always come in handy.

- The city - i don't think i could live in the suburbs.

Today was the day. We've been working on a photoshoot for Pat's band for the past week, and today we shoot the cover of their EP. We've got over 1000 shots to choose from, so what's next is gonna be as hard as the pre-shooting organization was. I had a blast, but i'm gonna admit it was tough keeping my cool and not turning neurotic while getting everything ready. You know the feeling when you think you're forgetting something? That's how i felt for the past few days!

Sorry about the sporadic posting. I might sound like a broken record when i say i've been super busy, but being sick a whole week made me lost a lot of time school-wise.

Mainly i've been wearing this kind of outfits: jeans, tees, sweaters, sneakers and coats. It does come in handy when you have to be running around from one place to the other.

Tuesdays are probably one of the least favorite days, but i hope everyone had a reason to smile at least once today :)

Cold power.

Quick post since i'm watching the Roland Garros semifinals!

I'm braking the 'black rules' again. I swear i didn't mean to pair black and blue on purpose and put it up as the following post of my previous one, but it just says that i don't give a damn or that i don't really plan what i'm wearing because of the blog.

I've had this shirt for a really long time, and hardly wear it because it's too short. For some reason most tees/tops/shirts tend to be too short for me, i must have a long torso (that didn't sound weird at all, right?). So thank God for the long tops trend!

It's Friday! I cannot believe how fast this week passed by. Time flies. I don't wanna start the whole 'oh, i can't believe the first half of the year is gone' conversation, but i'm definitely thinking about it.

Today Pat wasn't available to serve as the proud photographer of this blog he is, so when i got home i though 'hey this place is pretty cool, let's see how pictures turn out here'. So here it, is my apartment's parking lot. Don't ask me why, and not really sure if it shows, but i the superhero-ish poses seemed like a cool idea at the time.

PS. For the ones who asked about what red lipstick i was wearing on the 'red lips' post, i just bought a really cheap one in case i didn't like it ;)

Brownie.

I've always heard black goes with everything, except blue and brown. Lost of people tend to agree about black and brown being a fashion don't, but i've always like the idea of a brown accessory popping out of an all-black outfit.

Today was really really cold. Well, 50F degrees as the highest temperature of the day is cold for my standards. I'm kinda loving it though, there's nothing like the smell of cold weather.

El frío definitivamente llegó y con él, los abrigos y las bufandas. No hay nada que me guste más que el olor a invierno. Ese frío que te entra cuando respiras... es genial.
