I know, a wedding, dark colors… usually don't mix together, but i gravitate towards darker colors a lot, especially when the colder weather is coming. I couldn't leave this color-scheme aside.

Casamiento, colores oscuros… no es la mejor combinación, o mejor dicho, es casi un prohibido, pero me gustan los colores oscuros como el negro y el azul marino, y son colores a los que recurro mucho, sobretodo cuando el clima frío se acerca. Por esos motivos, no pude dejarlos afuera de esta selección.

I hardly ever wear prints, even though i love them. I think they can elevate certain pieces to a higher level transforming them into statement pieces. These in particular, are darker colored prints, which make them more wearable for me.

Something i love about minimalism is not that it's about minimal elements, but the most minimalistic way to put them together. You all know i love simple and basic pieces, and these dresses are simple enough to do it for me. The fact that most of them are white makes me think about this color twice; i've always said that i didn't want the civil ceremony dress to be a daytime version of my wedding gown.

Lo que más me gusta del minimalista no es el uso de la menor cantidad de elementos, sino que hace énfasis en la forma más mínima de juntarlos. Todos sabemos que tengo atracción por las prendas básicas y clásicas, y estos vestidos son lo suficientemente simples como para sentirme atraída. La mayoría son blancos, y eso es algo sobre lo que todavía dudo; siempre dije que no quería que el vestido del civil fuera una versión de día del vestido de novia.

Creo que los volados representan algo divertido y coqueto. ¿A qué mujer no le gusta sentirse así cada tanto? ¡A mi si! Y creo que esta ocasión sería la excusa perfecta para usar algo así.

I've already picked my wedding dress. I came across it while browsing bridal collections over style.com and it was love at first sight. But aside of having a religious ceremony, we'll be also having a civil wedding ceremony. I still have like 6 months to start worrying about what i'm gonna wear, but if i happen to find 'the' dress for the occasion, i'm gonna get it. Thing is summer's just started here, so it's not gonna be easy to find something autumn-y looking for the next three/four months. But yeah, i can always check what's new on the other hemisphere, right?

These were some of my picks, the variety is wide and i still haven't decided how the whole look is gonna turn out, so what better than start from scratch. All i know, is that i don't wanna look overdressed or like i'm going out somewhere, because these ceremonies happen during the day, so i just wanna find something fun, exciting, cool and that is still me. Piece of cake.

Elegí mi vestido de novia hace tiempo mientras miraba colecciones de novia en style.com, fue amor a primera vista. Teniendo ese tema resuelto, surgió el del civil. Todavía faltan como 6 meses, así que no tendría por qué volverme loca aún. Pero me pasa siempre que necesito encontrar algo para ponerme para cierta ocasión, no encuentro nada. Así que me dije que si encontraba 'el' vestido indicado, lo iba a comprar y guardar para esta fecha. La cosa es que acá arrancó el verano y encontrar un vestido que vaya más para el otoño se me va a complicar, por lo menos por los próximos tres/cuatro meses. ¡Pero eso no me impide mirar qué está pasando en el hemisferio norte!

Estos son algunos de los que elegí. Hay una variedad enorme, así que todavía no tengo ni idea por qué look quiero ir, así que nada mejor que empezar desde el principio e ir viendo desde ahí. Lo único que tengo claro es que no quiero nada del otro mundo, ni súper arreglado… algo simple, lindo y que mantenga mi estilo de siempre. Fácil.

I've been meaning to do a beauty-related post for the longest time. And coming across this post from The Belle Lumiere was the little extra push i needed to do it.

I LOVE make-up. It's almost like an addiction, so it's kinda serious. Even though i love trying out new products, i tend to research a lot before buying something. Most of high-end brands are sold where i live (except for NARS, which is totally wrong), but most of them are extremely pricey. So that's another reason why i try to think before i buy.

These are my top picks. Why? Simply because if i'm in a hurry, or don't really feel like thinking too much about my make-up, these are the products i turn to.

Hacía tiempo que tenía ganas de hacer un post relacionado con belleza/maquillaje. Y cuando hoy me crucé con este post en The Belle Lumiere, supe que era el empujoncito que necesitaba.

Me copa mucho el maquillaje. En el último tiempo se fue transformando en una adicción, así que se volvió algo serio. Aunque disfruto probando nuevos productos, me gusta investigar antes de comprar algo. Creo que es con todo lo que hay hoy en día, está bueno buscar, informarse y ver qué opinan otros.

Estos son mis productos preferidos. ¿Por qué? Porque son a los que recurro si estoy apurada, o si no quiero pensar demasiado en qué me voy a hacer.

Over my head.

Totally different mood from the last post. We had the best weather ever over the weekend, which had to come to an end when i woke up this morning to a cloudy sky and showers that were to come a couple of hours later. It's been raining all day, and the temperature went down considerably. So long for skirts, shorts and dresses.

I know i've said this a million times, but… I'm gonna make an effort and try to take pictures every morning before i leave for work. Hopefully i'll find cool spots around the house not to be so repetitive.

Un clima totalmente distinto al del último post. El fin de semana estuvo lindísimo, sol, calor, nada más parecido al verano, pero hoy amaneció totalmente nublado y esperando las lluvias que llegarían un par de horas después. Desde la mañana que está lloviendo, y la temperatura bajó considerablemente, así que los vestidos, las polleras y los shorts tendrán que esperar por ahora.

Sé que dije esto miles de veces, pero… voy a tratar de sacar alguna que otra foto antes de ir a trabajar. Espero encontrar lindos rinconcitos por la casa para no ser tan repetitiva.

You can tell i've been obsessing over these shoes. I'm wearing them in the last four posts, so yeah, i'm really happy i got them. Doesn't it feel great when you end up wearing something you (at first) hesitating of buying?

I was seriously hesitating about caving into the clog trend, but i've always loved the mix of leather, wood and studs. I'm still on the process of training my feet into wearing heels, so this come in real handy. They're really comfortable, so i can bear with them all day long.

¿Hace falta que diga que me copan mucho estos zapatos? Creo que no, si tenemos en cuenta que los llevo puestos en los últimos cuatro posts. Feliz de tenerlos y feliz de estar justificando mi compra.

Dudé bastante en caer en la tendencia de los zuecos, aunque siempre me gustó la mezcla de cuero, madera y tachas. Uno de los puntos más positivos de este par en particular: son súper cómodos, soy capaz de aguantarlos todo el día.
