Can't seem to stop wearing these jeans, they're just so comfortable! I've been meaning to wear this top. I bought it a few weeks ago at a store that was practically giving stuff away because they were closing. I'm not realy into big patterns, but i fell in love with this one. And the fact that it was black and white made it even cooler.

Don't you love it when you find stuff that you really like at a really low price? Sometimes i don't mind paying full price for clothes, but only as long as they're worth it. In some case, they don't, so i have to wait until they go on sale to buy them. The good thing about bargains is that you're not looking for them, they happen to be there waiting to be bought. Like today, Pat and i went to this store that still had some stuff on sale from the summer season. He ended up getting a pair of jeans and two tees for less than what a pair of this season's jeans cost.

It's Thursday! YAY! For some reason i love Thursdays more than Fridays. The feeling that the week is about to be over is definitely something to feel good about. And keeping the good news coming, i don´t have school tomorrow!

Are you planning anything exciting for the weekend?

Ayres blazer; Adhorada top; Ona Saez jeans; Paruolo boots.

I was feeling pretty lousy yesterday because i had a rough day at school, so today i thought that incorporating a punch of color to my outfit would make me feel better. Guess what? It did!

I've had this jacket for a year or so, and this is the first time wearing it. I was kind of unsure about the color, but i'm glad i gave it a chance, it's a really fun color. Remember the cute plaid shirt one of my brothers got me for my birthday? Well, i ended up exchanging it for these jeans. They look an awful lot to my BGDs, but they're one of the most comfortable skinny jeans i've tried on, hands down.

My class was cancelled today, so Pat and i went to have breakfast and work on some projects we've got going on. I looooove big coffees!

I'm feeling kind of guilty for my lack of posting. This next few weeks are gonna be crazy, i'm gonna be really busy with school and other stuff, but i'll try to post whenever i get the chance. Having a place to come and relax for a bit, it's awesome :)

Mark's & Spencer jacket (not familiar to this brand, my mom brought it from Europe); Ona Saez jeans; Gap tee; Nine West wedges.

Remember that i went shopping a couple of weeks ago? This dress is one of the things i bought, and i couldn't wait to wear it. I was gonna buy it in black, but then i thought that the majority of my dresses are black, so why not try incorporating some color. It's crazy that i was able to leave the house wearing anything but what you can see on the pictures... the temperature reached the 82F degrees today, crazy!

Hope you can see it on the close-up pic, but the fabric is super shiny and it almost feels like it's been treated with wax. I highly doubt it was actually waxed, but at least it looks like it.

Daily rant: i hate busy weeks. They make you feel like you don't have enough time to do everything you have to do. It's important to be able to stop at some point, take a deep breath (and deserved break), and recover your energy to keep on going.

I also wanted to wish a wonderful 22nd birthday to my girl Icee from The Shapes of Things. Hope you had a great day, you deserve it :)

PS. For the ones who were asking about the dress' fabric, the tag says it's 100% cotton ;)

47 St. dress; Rally's flats.

I'm gonna admit it, this week i didn't wear anything 'exciting'. So having all your extremely sweet comments, made my days. This is me on busy a day/week; comfortable, simple, functional, practical outfits. So i hope i'm not boring anyone here!

Since today's outfit wasn't anything fancy, Pat decided to take the pics on different locations. He's to blame for the picture overload people! ;) If it wasn't for him, i wouldn't have any pictures, so thank you Pat. I posted his outfit too (second time this week...) as a way to saying 'thank you'.

I overslept like half an hour this morning, so i had to get dressed in like ten minutes. Jeans? Check. White tee? Check. Cardigan? Check. Comfortable sneakers? Check. Did i say that it was freezing cold when i left my house? Oh, luckily i had picked the perfect and coziest knit.

Not too much to say about today's outfit. I tried to keep it really simple because i had to wake up extra early to finish some school stuff that was due today.

This picture has been on my computer for a long time, and i always loved how simple yet cool she looked. Guess that she served as inspiration today since i was over than half asleep when my alarm rang at 5.30AM.

Luckily, tomorrow is Friday. I have a ton of things to do this weekend, but let's see if i finally learn how to manage time wisely.

Old Navy jacket; BDC jeans; Gap tee; Converse hi-tops; Forever 21 cuff bracelet.

Funny fact about today's outfit: it happened to be color coordinated with Pat's. Before heading home, we stopped to take these. They deserved to be showcased  to the world :)

PS.I love these jeans, but i'm starting to have doubts about how good it looks on me :/

It's finally cold(er)! When i woke up, it was freezing! At least for me. I've got to admit it took me a bit longer to get out of bed. But it seems like i'm gonna be able to flaunt my winter clothes.

I was really waiting for the weather to cool down so i could wear this coat/cape. I'm not really a big fan of red, but i fell in love with this coat as soon as i saw it. I never bought anything else than body lotions/underwear/loungewear from Victoria's Secret, but this coat deserved a chance.

I had a test today. I'm 99% there's not gonna be a happy ending there. The thing is that i have so many things to do, that there's not even time to feel bad about it; i have to get over it and move on. That's half bad and half good. On one hand, i can just let it go and worry about something else; but on the other, it feels like the process isn't complete. Ugh. I hate venting about school, so i'm gonna try to be quiet for now :)

Pat to the rescue! To lighten me up, he took me out for lunch. **Not trying to turn this into a food blog, but i'm really into food porn ;)

Club sandwich for him.

Mediterranean salad for me.

Bought this top yesterday, among a few other things i can't wait to wear. It's so light, comfortable, and it has sort of a hippie vibe that's soft enough not to look like you came out of the '70s.

It must come across so weird that one day i'm wearing tights and long-sleeves and the next one i'm in shorts and a flowy top, but i'm not gonna try to understand weather... i just try to go with it.

Today Pat and i skipped school, but not to waste the day lounging around doing nothing productive. We got up early, had scrambled eggs and french toasts for breakfast; then we were ready to start working on some stuff for school. I even took a break to cook these tuna + tomato + cheese sandwiches for lunch. Days like today are my favorite days ever :)

Paula Cahen d'Anvers top; Rapsodia shorts; Gap sandals; Forever 21 bag.
