Last night was great. I got to start off my birthday with my family. Ate a lot, laugh a lot, and got a couple of presents, which is always a good thing! Images speak louder than words so...

Cool fact: 3 brothers = 3 presents.
Brother #1. Plaid purple/red short-sleeve blouse with some cute-looking ruffles.
Brother #2. Friends second season on DVD.
Brother #3. Really soft gray knit, it feels great and it looks really cute on.
Pat. The coolest rocker boots i've been eyeing for a while. He surely knows my taste.
I got home today to find these beautiful roses my dad bought for me.
A few days ago i went out shopping and came back empty handed. I couldn't find anything that i liked. Perhaps i was being too picky, but i wasn't going to buy something just because. Gave it another try two days later and the only thing i found was this tee. I guess the fact that it was on sale made me want it even more.
After sleeping 4 hours, i got up and went to school. But i left early because i was super bored... it's my birthday, i can do whatever i want, right? ;) I met up with Pat to have a late breakfast and do some shopping.

Ayer fue genial. Festejé unas horas antes mi cumpleaños y pude empezar el día soplando las velitas. Recibí muchos regalos y comí mucho. Hoy me levanté con pocas ganas de ir a la facultad, pero fui igual. Sólo para volverme a las 3 horas porque la clase era un embole y porque es mi cumpleaños, puedo permitirme eso por hoy.And... presents!

I love the cake and I love smittenkitchen. I pretty much just use her recipes whenever I cook, she has everything - hands down. Sometimes I go to foodnetwork.com, but it's been a little iffy there lately.
The cake I'm making is the pretty pink princess cake. So fun and girly - can't wait.
Oh and Pat rocks for eyeing those boots and buying. Well, he rocks anyway overall cause he proposed and got a ring. I could just imagine your face when you and Pat were asking for the millionth time for the cake. :P
