Rosario.

Better late than never, right? These are some of the pics we took on the trip to Rosario we made last weekend. Pat's band was playing there for the first time!

It was my first time over there and i really liked it. It's really similar to Buenos Aires, but has this cool old feel to it that makes it special. We were there for a day and a half, so we couldn't do much touring. I didn't get to see the Contemporary Art Museum, so there's an excuse to come back. We did went to visit the National Flag Memorial, which is quite popular and stunning. There's not much to say though, i hope the pics speak for themselves.

Estas son algunas de las fotos que sacamos en el viaje a Rosario. Fue mi primera vez ahí y debo admitir que me copó mucho. Me quedé sin ir al Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, pero algún día volveré. Estuve sólo un día y medio, así que mucho tiempo para recorrer no hubo. Pero las citas obligadas fueron el Monumento a la bandera, y un paseo con vista al río.

Para que se diviertan y no puedan sacarse de la cabeza melodías pegadizas, les recomiendo escuchar Prostitutos (la banda de Pat).

Delay.

Motorcycle boots are the best. The buckles, the toughness, the 'worn' look. When i saw this picture of Rachel Bilson, i knew i had to find a similar pair. I became obsessed with her boots and begun the hunt. A few days later i found these, i instantly fell in love with them. Even though they're not exactly like her Fryes, they're similar enough to make me happy.

This is one of my favorites coats. Mainly because it's gray and it has this cool chunky silver buttons. It was a present from Pat, he bought it for my birthday last year. Does he have the coolest taste or what!?

Just got home from school; Pat and i made a quick stop at McDonald's to have breakfast. Seems like autumn/winter has arrived. This morning the temperature drop down to 41F degrees, so imagine the excitement i felt when it was time to take my pretty coats out of the closet. I've got to admit that it takes me much longer to get out of the bed, nothing is more tempting than curling in bed all day.

I'm really sorry about the sporadic posting. School's keeping me super busy and i have some projects on the side that take the little time i have left.

La culpa del posteo esporádico es de la facultad. Estas últimas semanas están bastante cargadas, y creo que las que vienen van a ser iguales. Tengo que tomar decisiones y empezar a ponerlas en práctica porque esto así no va. Creo que llegúe al punto ese donde hacés 'click' y te proponés cosas.

Reality.

I'm back! The trip was a blast. Pat's band rocked the show and we all had a great time doing a little touring around the city. Pat downloaded all the pics on his computer, but i'll try to share them with you as soon as i get my hands on them.

Today was back to school and hello cold weather. This sweater is just super cozy and perfect to keep anyone warm. The outfit is nothing great though, Tuesdays suck. They come right after Mondays, and they still feel like you have a long way to go until the weekend comes again.

Thanks for all the cool comments about the DIY! I ended up being pretty pleased with how it turned out, so i'm glad you all liked it too ;)

Después de Rosario, hoy fue volver a la realidad. Me dieron ganas de viajar más, aunque sea por un día, y me di cuenta de cuán divertido puede ser conocer lugares nuevos. Aunque sea de a mil y teniéndo que depender unos de otros.

I tend to fall for trends late. Like many others, i was left amazed of how cool Hanneli's studded jeans looked. I'm new to the whole DIY world, but this seemed fairly easy. I chose these jeans because i don't wear them that often; hope the make-over will change that and make me want to wear them more.

Tomorrow i'll be hitting the road for a super quick trip to a city near Buenos Aires. Tomorrow night Pat's band is playing there for the first time! So we're super excited and they're bringing all the people they can to show their support. Expect lots of pics coming on Sunday!

Este DIY era muy tentador como para no intentar hacerlo. Confieso que esto es bastante adictivo, quiero atacar todo lo que encuentro y llenarlo de tachas.

Mañana me voy a Rosario. La banda de Pat toca por primera vez ahí, en el Teatro Nacional de Rosario. Están juntando toda la gente que puedan, así que no podía dejar de ir. Los veo a la vuelta ;)

Controversial.

Yes, i went there. I don't mean to start another discussion about Uggs. Not only do i own a pair, but i wear them proudly. There're hundreds of people who are gonna think i'm crazy for wearing these, but i don't really see it. They're comfy, cute and they don't necessarily need to be paired with sweats; but we're all allowed to yay or nay them. Hope i'm not disappointing anyone with them!

Pat and i just came back from having breakfast and having a little walk around the neighborhood. It's Thursday, life is good.

Ultimamente me estoy quedando dormida muy seguido. No tengo idea si hay alguna justificación para eso, pero tengo períodos en los que me pasa dos o tres veces por semana. Hoy me pasó y decidí obviar la facultad. Pero es jueves, y eso me pone bien.

Quick post! I have a ton of things to get done for tomorrow.

I'm all for high-waisted jeans. They're more comfortable than low-waisted ones, they don't make you worry about what's gonna show when you're sitting down, and they really help elongate a woman's body. I've had these for a year or so, but haven't worn them that much. I bought them because they seem like a good alternative to all the pair of jeans i own, since they're made of a softer thicker navy fabric.

Post rápido. La infografía requiere todo mi tiempo.

Me gustan los pantalones de tiro alto, aunque éste sea el único par que tengo. Creo que estilizan la figura de la mujer, además de cubrir con la necesidad básica de no estar teniendo que taparse cuando uno está sentado. En el año que tienen en mi closet, los he usado sólo un par de veces. Pero después de hoy me convencí de que no hay por qué tenerles miedo.

This is what was happening behind me.

Got this shirt as a late birthday gift. What i love the most about it is that it looks like i borrowed it from my boyfriend's closet. The tights are ready to be transformed into something else; i can't count the times i had to stop my mom from throwing them away. 

This weekend was extra long because i didn't have school on Friday. No school is always good, but the fact that i had to spend part of my weekend working on stuff for this week's classes kind of bummed me out.

What a better way to spend a Sunday than having your boyfriend cook lunch for you?! And i've got visual proof!

Don't forget dessert. Remember the quince pie i mentioned on the tag thing? It's becoming out latest addiction.

Guess it's time to introduce the cutest puppy in the world, Teo.

Los fines de semana largos le gustan a todo el mundo. ¿A quién no le van a gustar? Si significan que tenemos uno o dos días extra de descanso. La cosa es que a mi, me van los fines de semana largos. Cuando me entero que hay uno digo 'bueeena, que masa,, voy a tener un día más para hacer tal cosa'. La cuestión es que generalmente no los aprovecho como tendría que aprovecharlos. Me pasó con este, pero por lo menos tuve tiempo para relajarme, y creo que el solo hecho de saber que tenemos ese día extra, alcanza para que la mente funcione de manera más distendida.
