As promised, some pictures from our wedding.

I fell in love with a Monique Lhuillier gown from her bridal Spring 2009 collection. Since I couldn't get it because A) I obviously couldn't afford it, B) living on the other side of the world wouldn't make it any easier to find it, so I had mine custom made with my "dream dress" on mind. I was ecstatic with how it turned out. Exactly how it looked in my mind.

Lo prometido es deuda, algunas fotos del casamiento.

Me enamoré de un vestido de Monique Lhuillier de su colección de novias de Primavera 2009. Conseguir el original hubiera sido imposible, así que me hice uno teniendo en mente ese vestido del que me había encantado. Quedó simplemente increíble. Exactamente como me lo imaginaba.

These jeans and boots have quickly become part of my daily uniform. It just so easy to mix them with anything, and instantly look presentable. Having pieces like these it's a definite time saver in the mornings.

Se nota que me copé con estos jeans y estas botas, ¿no? Puedo mezclarlo con cualquier cosa, y estar presentable en dos minutos.

Estos jeans tienen todo lo que buscaba: son cómodos y por el momento conservan la misma forma que tenían cuando me los probé por primera vez. Para los que estén buscando un modelo como este, se los recomiendo. Lo único negativo, es que sólo vienen en este lavado.

Thanks for all the sweet comments on the previous post! We couldn't be happier with how the whole night came out, and they guys who did our video really captured how happy we felt.

Ever since i saw these boots, i felt i had to have them in my life. There was something about that gold, crackled leather that really stuck on me. I finally got them last week, once they went on sale. They kinda make me feel like a rockstar.

¡Muchas gracias por los comentarios en el post anterior! Salió todo increíble, y los que hicieron el video claramente supieron reflejar lo felices que estábamos.

Me obsesioné con estas botitas apenas las vi. Pude contenerme de dejarlas pasar en el momento, pero cada vez que las veía …ahí estaban, y yo, queriéndolas. Finalmente, me decidí y las compré cuando estaban en liquidación. No sé si es el dorado, el brillo, o el efecto craquelado, que me hacen sentir como una rockstar por un rato.

Back to the present.

Annnnnnd... we're back!

We got back home a week ago, but i took an extra week away from the blog. We've been really busy getting everything ready at our new place (which is almost furniture-less still), and just adjusting to our "new life".

Can't believe how fast the last three weeks passed by. We had an amazing time on our honeymoon. It was our first time in New York, hence the tourist-y pictures. We absolutely fell in love with the city, and agree with everyone who comes back home amazed by everything that goes on there.

Thank you all for wishing us the best, we're couldn't be happier to have taken this step.

Y… ¡volvimos!

Llegamos hace una semana, pero me tomé algunos días más para acomodarme a esta nueva vida. Nuestro nuevo hogar todavía está en proceso de armado (amoblado a la mitad), así que entre eso y volver a la rutina, necesitaba esos días extras para terminar de organizarme.

No puedo creer lo rápido que pasaron estas últimas tres semanas. La pasamos increíble en New York. Era la primera vez que íbamos, ¡así que las fotos son súper turísticas! Nos encantó la ciudad, y coincidimos plenamente con todos los que van y vuelven maravillados.

Muchas gracias por todos los comentarios por el casamiento. Estamos felices de haber dado este paso.
